Community Records announces 2016 music festival lineup, shows

New Orleans-based record label Community Records presents its ninth annual, daylong music festival showcasing some of its roster highlights and touring artists at One Eyed Jacks on Saturday, Oct. *22.

The 2016 edition of Community Records Fest ? formerly Block Party ? includes Gland, Slingshot Dakota,*Dowsing, Ratboys,*Football, Etc.,*All People,*Pope,*Boyfriend Material.*A Living Soundtrack,*Sexy Dex & The Fresh,*Hestina,*Mean Girls, Treadles*and*Hughes & The Saturation. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.

There also is an all-ages pre-festival show Friday, Oct. 21 at Hey!?
