 "Cram It," the first single from Gland's debut tape Neurotica, is a perfect, powerful, two-chords-and-change mission statement from the New Orleans punk band. In the video, which*premiered on The Le Sigh, the band morphs from its youthful doubles into their contemporary selves, all one and the same in saying enough's enough, "I'm not crying anymore," while blowing up George Zimmerman and playing in the fire. Gland performs as part of Community Records Fest at One Eyed Jacks on Saturday, Oct. 22. Tickets are $17 in advance, $20 at the door. |
