Report: Judge denies Alon Shaya's request to bar restaurant's use of his name, for now
 A federal judge denied chef Alon Shaya's request for a temporary injunction agains the continued use of his name at Shaya*(4213 Magazine St., 504-891-4213),*the modern Israeli restaurant he launched with his former employer, the*Besh Restaurant Group. The New Orleans Advocate reported that U.S. District Judge Ivan Lemelle denied Alon Shaya?s request.*Shaya had asked Lemelle to bar his former employers from using the name Shaya until a trademark lawsuit over the name is settled.? |
