The New Orleans City Council will resume its meetings inside City Hall this week after it spent the last few months across the river in Algiers. Renovations inside the council chambers forced full council meetings to move temporarily to*the Orleans Parish School Board office building in Algiers, and other committee meetings and City Planning Commission hearings moved elsewhere in and around City Hall.
The City Council returns to City Hall with a potentially loaded docket with three high-profile issues on the agenda ? a proposed ordinance
requiring security cameras outside businesses that sell alcohol, a report from the City Planning Commission on
limiting the number of strip clubs on Bourbon Street, and a resolution approving Entergy's 128 megawatt, gas-powered facility in New Orleans East.?
