NEW ORLEANS – Chris Paul pledges that he won’t come back until his surgically repaired knee is 100 percent.

And that, he said, might just be the best thing for the Hornets right now.

“I think, me being out, this may be a blessing in disguise,” Paul said in his first time speaking with the press since having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on Feb. 3.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

How is this a blessing when we're trying to make a run at the playoffs?

His rookie replacement is getting valuable playing time. He's playing well and hopefully we will get a lottery pick in the off season. This season is in the can.

well we are only 2 games out of the playoffs now. I say instead of tanking the season make a final push for that 8th spot. Portland is currently 8th and they are up and down. Just have to see how we play when CP3 comes back and hopefully we can keep a respectable record while he's out.

DC is playing pretty damn good considering he is a rookie. We just might be a sleeper team in the post season. Yea, thats right, post season.

I sure hope so. Finally someone who can run the offense when CP3 is not in there. Good to not have to heavily rely on CP3 doing everything but still CP3 and DC (the PG) has to make this team go (score). Nobody else can really score/create their own shot. And D. West catching the ball at the elbow and shooting jumpers is not creating an EFFECTIVE shot. I say we still need a QUALITY two guard.
