I don't understand the deal with contraction... I mean what, you pay like 400 million dollars to take over a team, and then just eliminate it? How does that make financial sense?

It makes sense if they can move the team to a profitable market.

I still think there's a chance the Choest family will buy the team but I doubt it.

They do this in mid-season, they did ZERO marketing of the team this year (or ever) and now the house will be less packed and they blame it all on the fans. .... There is the issue of an NBA caliber arena in New Orleans still... |
