Birdman want to buy the Hornets??????
I'm not trying to be funny at all, but there is a rumor that Birdman (Ceo of Cashmoney) has said he would be intersted in buying the Hornets. He is worth 400 million, so he has the money to buy team. I just dont think the NBA would approve. I think it would be good for the team. He would keep the Hornets in the NO, try to bring more talant to the team and try to keep CP3 in the NO. By the way just a SN: Master P is still worth 600 million if you can believe that and we all know the history between him and the Hornets.

Never going to happen. They would do a detailed background check on all the parties(him along with other Cash Money investors) involved and his would come back checkered. I'm sure they're extremely strict on things like that.

What's the problem as long as he's going to keep the team in New Orleans I see no problem with it. Yes his image is not your regular million dollar owner type but if your having a hard time finding someone to buy the team why not let him buy the team.

Bryan Williams (Birdman) is very good at self promotion and making rap music. Anything beyond that would take an arsenal of sqeaky clean educated people surrounding him in a totally different envirnoment to even have a chance. I'm not saying he couldn't do it but if you look at his track record, mainly his alleged defunked oil company and criminal record the NBA would never go for it. Owning a small percentage however, that may be an option.

The only defense I have about his record is the whole Jay Z thing. Everyone remembers his music before he became this mogul. I want a owner who wants to keep the hornets in NO. I don't care who he is.

He's gonna be a Marc Cuban type owner, up front at all the games eager to help the team win. Whats not to like. He's got an oil company for goodness sakes, Anybody who has an oil company can surely run and NBA or NFL franchise right.
