Actually, the way I saw it was that the refs just let them play a lot of the time. They weren't calling all those penny-ante fouls like in the Finals last year. They knew this game was going to be physical, so they basically just let both teams roll with it. And you can't blame the 2nd half Hornets collapse on officiating. Lakers' defense stepped up and showed them why they are the two-time defending champs.

My big question is, when will the NBA EVER begin to call all the traveling the players do on a regular basis? This isn't a partisan post, just a serious question. All teams travel pretty regularly. Been going on since the 70's and it's annoying. |
