Benson bought the Hornets? Great news! IDK how New Orleans feels about it, but if there's doubts, I would suggest looking to how one owner having two professional sports team in one city has worked out for Detroit.

Mike Illitch owns both the Detroit Tigers & the Detroit Red Wings ... both teams had fallen into disrepair prior to him purchasing them and now they're both at the top of their game ... it's been great for Detroit, so much so, everyone was lobbying for him to purchase the Detroit Pistons when they were for sale recently.

Tom Benson appears to be the same kind of owner who cares about the city he's in outside of his franchise, and just as Mike Illitch does a lot for the City of Detroit, I'm thinking Benson probably does the same for New Orleans.

I'll be looking for the Hornets to be on the rise in the NBA ... you heard it here first.

Well they hired a Coach Pop disciple ... so there is hope there too! They have pics coming in the next couple of years to help as well.
