Draymond Green Commits Egregious Flop vs. Pelicans in Game 3
Draymond Green didn’t win Defensive Player of the Year, but he’s quickly emerging as the front-runner for the equally prestigious Flopper of the Year.
Ryan Anderson harmlessly ripped the ball around midway through the second quarter of Game 3 between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, making microscopic contact, if any. The gust of wind must have been especially strong, though, because Green dropped like he'd been shot. The referee emphatically called an offensive foul on Anderson, whose New Orleans Pelicans led 44-32 at the time. The power forward looked right up at the video board, knowing that the truth was about to set him free. Sure it worked, but this was no ordinary flop. Even after the whistle, the sneaky Green winced as if his nose was seriously injured. Anderson and Green, both well aware of what just unfolded, could be seen half-laughing, half-taunting before play resumed. Green can expect a fine for that flop. But he got the call in a crucial playoff game, so maybe it'll be worth it. Read more New Orleans Pelicans news on BleacherReport.com More... |

They need to start suspending players for flopping. And not one game either but 4-5.
