I am a huge Spurs fan(glad I live in San Antone now) and we played the Hornets a couple nights ago. Dickau is nice. I had picked him up for my fantasy teams when they traded for him. He reminds me more of a Mark Price than a Steve Nash, but he can shoot, pass, screen and roll. Kid has game. They should just trade Baron for a two guard or small forward and let Dickau run the show. Or move Baron to the two.

Yea but Baron is too small for a 2. One trade I actually would like to see is BD for Paul Pierce. We desperately need a small forward and the exchange is pretty equal. We drafted Smith and he has a lot of upside so I wouldn\'t trade for a superstar SG then Smith will have to ride the pine.

Paul Pierce would be sweet cause he can run at the 3 as well. They need to call Danny ainge now and get that done now. That is probably the most fair trade available. Smith can shoot, but he looks kinda smallish to me. He is not ready to be a full time two yet. And David Wesley played the two so surely B-diddy can.

Yea he has to build more muscle... but he is 6\'6. Same size as Kobe when he came in and drafted by the same team. Hornets gave up on him, but trust me they won\'t do it again. I mean they only reason why I don\'t like Dickau and Davis paired is because it\'s going to make our defense even more of a liability.

Yeah but the O would be much improved. Look at Phoenix. They have 1 defensive player on the floor at any giventime, Joe Johnson. Everyone else is all O. PJ Brown\'s interior D is good enough and hopefully when Magliore(spelling?) comes back, the interior D gets better. You can take some lesses D talent on the outside if you have guys inside to cancel mistakes. But it would be better for them to get Pierce. Also, Kobe was a scrub as a rookie so basically this year may be a wash for Smith. Adding muscle in the offseason is his best bet. He has a nice shot though.

Agreed... but Spurs vs Suns = Spur\'s crushing. I love watching the Suns play, run and gun high scoring team. But when it comes down to defense, they couldn\'t stop 5 cows from scoring. I love Dickau but every game I\'ve watched him play, the opposing point guard blows past him. He\'s great offensively but has a lot more to learn on defense. I find B-Diddy a very selfish player. He\'s good and all but I don\'t believe he fits here.

Absolutely right on B-diddy, selfish is the word. He was the same way at UCLA. But with his constant injuries, he may be difficult to trade. Like I was saying though, you can survive Dickau at guard. Tony Parker abuses Nash relentlessly when they play. Phoanix is still doing okay. I would believe Dickau will get btter. His offensive IQ is excellent for the short time he has been in the league.

I sure hope you guys can keep up the info on the Hornets on this board. Living in Texas, I don\'t get to hear to much about them.
