2015-16 NBA preview: Western Conference, Southwest Division

There were some - including the man himself - who believed James Harden should have been the MVP last season and not Stephen Curry. If Ty Lawson can stabilize the point guard spot, the Rockets could find themselves in the NBA Finals. 2015-16 prediction: 56-26, 3rd in the West; Jeff Duncan's prediction: 4th in the West. The last time the Spurs didn't win 50 games in a season, the season was only 50 games - and that year San Antonio won the NBA title (1998-99). The Spurs will be good and LaMarcus Aldridge gives San Antonio something to look forward to when Tim Duncan finally decides to - if he ever does - retire. 2015-16 prediction: 55-27, 4th in the West; Jeff Duncan's prediction: 2nd in the West.
