![]() In the post, which appeared across his social media platforms, Cousins said "this s--t sucks" but vowed to make a comeback and return to form once he's 100 percent. ![]() Cousins' season ended when he attempted to chase down a missed free throw late in the Pelicans' 115-113 win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. According to ESPN.com's Adrian Wojnarowski, his timetable for a return could land anywhere from six to 10 months. Before he hit the shelf, the 27-year-old was in the midst of a career year. In 48 games, he averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. Without Cousins, the onus has fallen on fellow All-Star Anthony Davis and point guard Jrue Holiday to lift the Pelicans up as they try to tread water in the Western Conference playoff race and snap their two-year postseason drought.
