Re: Thursday's 'Dunc & Holder:' Pelicans stun Spurs; what's next with Zach Strief and Kenny Vaccaro?
Anthony Davis is one of the best basketball players ever. He was definetely the league MVP in February. He's putting up statistics never seen before and don't look now but the Pelicans are winning. They're currently on a 7 game win streak with games against the Mavs, Clippers and the Kings next. They are within a couple games of the 3 seed and are suddenly sitting at 4th in the loaded Western Conference. The Pels are 2nd in the NBA in assists, 6th in 3pt percentage, 2nd in scoring and in February they lead the league in offensive pace and watch out they're starting to play defense. I say noone wants to see the Pelicans in the playoffs and if Solomon Hill can get fully healthy soon, this team could beat anyone. Pelicans 2018 NBA Champions. WhoDat!
