Re: Jordan Crawford, Pelicans Reportedly Agree to Contract
Gonna be the only B&G poster to comment on the Pelicans again but this guy can really shoot and was playing out of his mind this year when we cut him loose I think to make room for the Cousins deal. I'm pumped we got him back and have been hoping we would

Re: Jordan Crawford, Pelicans Reportedly Agree to Contract
We didnt cut him for the Cousins deal. I forget we had Cousins last year. It may have been for Jameer Nelson. Either way he also has one of the team's best nicknames,"instant grits" Love it. I have this feeling the final game of the season vs the Spurs will be huge, possibly even a must win for one or both teams to make the playoffs. ADs only playoff appearance required us to beat the Spurs the last game of the season to get in. The last time we played the Spurs, the refs gave the game to the Spurs. AD fouled out and Lemarcus Aldridge's first foul was late in the 4th Q and was a foul to give intentional foul. So Aldridge guarded AD without fouling the whole game but AD fouls out. Whatever. I also think we could end up with the 7th seed meaning we'd play the Warriors minus Steph Curry. We are already a bad matchup for the Warriors in my opinion and without Steph if we played out of our minds, we could pull off the upset. Of course if the refs would allow it. We all know the NBA wants a Warriors, Rockets Western Conference Final.

Anything is possible but you're right ... I think the Rockets are in a good spot this year out of the Western conf. Wouldn't surprise me to see them defeat the Warriors in a 7 game series. Harden appears to be on his way to a MVP & possible championship.

Re: Jordan Crawford, Pelicans Reportedly Agree to Contract
The Warriors are banged up. The Rockets are healthy. Harden's gonna win the MVP but the way he quit last year in the playoffs and other times he's choked in clutch games puts him in the,"gonna have to show me" that he's got championship pedigree category. Actually, Chris Paul and Harden haven't had much playoff success. That team does look pretty good though, playing what seems to be the perfect style of BBall for today's NBA. I think they need to either make the key smaller or move the 3pt line back or soon NBA games will be strictly nothing but 3pt shootouts. My favorite player was Charles Barkley. I wonder how good a young Barkley would be in today's NBA. If only Pete Maravich got to play in this era.

Re: Jordan Crawford, Pelicans Reportedly Agree to Contract
Watched the Pels/Suns game. Jordan Crawford looked great. He can really shoot. Of course. But he is also a good playmaker, good at penetrating and finding cutters or open shooters. I actually really believe that Crawford could improve the Pelicans into a team that could make a run in the playoffs. Mirotic is a nice player. Holiday is the best guard defender in the league. AD. Enough said. Etwuan Moore is a great shooter but seems to miss the clutch ones. Darius Miller and Cheick Diallo play their roles well. We all know Rondo is a great post season player. If Solomon Hill can get his shot back in the playoffs, we could really do something.
