Re: 'Inexcusable' 2nd quarter dooms Pelicans in Game 1 loss to Warriors
The Warriors shot 23 free throws in the first half to the Pels 6. Shot makes for each team were very close. The difference was free throws. Every block or steal they made was clean. Every rip by Holiday or D by anyone else was a foul. It was not a consistently called game. Draymond spent the first half draped all over AD
No fouls. All perfectly clean. Of course. If they're really gonna shoot 20 more free throws per game......oh well. We crumbled eventually of course but when every time you play good D it's a foul. We have to watch Draymond tackling AD and swinging wildly for steals and blocks. Never a foul. Frustrating. I expected us to get beat. I just want it to be at least close to fair. That was ridiculous. |
