Re: Should LeBron James win NBA Finals MVP even if the Cavs lose?
Finals MVP for not winning? Nope but take Lebron off the Cavs, they'd be lucky to win 40 games a season. It's a lot harder to win it all without a D Wade, Chris Bosh or Kyrie Irving.
I remember watching those YouTube highlights when Jordan would score 50, 60 points a game in the playoffs and still lose to Boston. Things didn't change until Pippen, Grant, Rodman etc came aboard. Gotta have good to above average role players to win a NBA title & Finals MVP award. |
