this is a discussion within the Pelicans Community Forum; Hope we don't trade that 4 for more role fillers but we likely will. I would rather have a young fun team to watch and lose than another role player that makes us barely competitive against average teams. Nothing exciting ...

#1 and #1.4 Picks Tonight
Hope we don't trade that 4 for more role fillers but we likely will. I would rather have a young fun team to watch and lose than another role player that makes us barely competitive against average teams. Nothing exciting about that at all.

How about trading back in tonight's draft?

The 4? Why. We are stacked with future picks for a while. We probably will though but I hope not. The talent start bleeding out fast in this draft after after the top 5. The current 4 prospect is the #1's old teamate. I say get them both. They have good chemistry. |

Just like in football, nothing wrong with trading a pick in package for a veteran. I wouldn't add another rookie this year. The wing and back court are already young. Not to mention there is a hole at center & depth point guard. Or possible trade back to acquire more picks. A vet such as Bradley Beal comes to mind. Just have to wonder if the Wizards are interested. |
