What’s the game day meal Round 2

Think I’ll go out of the box and make a dish not related to either team...Chicken Enchilada suize or however the hell you spell it. I’ll make a pecan pie for celebratory dessert.

Haven't planned yet. Something that doesn't distract from the game.

I'm always too nervous to eat during the game, so anything I make would go completely to waste.

Good point. But the game starting late allows for the menu concentration. Cooking all day allows me to focus on not being stressed about the game. If it was an early slot I’d be preparing a brunch. Maybe a quiche and popovers.

Wish crawfish were more available here. I’d make pies.

Exactly I usually cook before a game for a distraction then I don’t eat till after if I’m not pissed. A slow start by the saints I’m half drunk by half time.

Be sipping Jack Daniels American Honey first half.

At half time prime ribeye 5 minutes on, flip 3 minutes at 500 over hard wood let it rest 5 minutes.

Nice bottle of Malbac enjoy that and medium rare steak watching the 3rd qtr.

Sometime during the 4 qtr I will light Hoya Del Monterey Epicure #2 on patron and watch the end of the Buccaneers’ sweep.

Cheers Saints Fans near a far..

I'm watching the game with my Dad (87) and my oldest brother. I have no idea what the wife is doing.

We're having hamburgers. Hamburgers have been served at Saints victories for the past 2 years.

Doing some.chili myself... Except vegan meat. If you've never tried, one can't even tell the difference with a bovine product. We've fooled a many with this chili.
My wife is a vegetarian, in case you were wondering why.

I was a vegetarian for over 16 years, until a moved back home and smelled my grandmother’s pork chops. That ended that.

That sounds good Bos. Do you put tomato sauce on top?

jnormand 01-17-2021 04:13 PM

Re: What’s the game day meal Round 2

I'm just keeping it simple as well. Miller Lite and if I get hungry I have some deer backstraps that have been marinating for a couple days. Do that with rice.

Probably just gonna do beer. Lol.
