Re: Observations from yet another Saints early exit in the playoffs
I heard Bobby Hebert on the Point After show mention that the Saints are the first team in NFL history to win 49 games in a 4 year span not to make it to a Super Bowl.
Unfortunate & deflating stat. |

I'd much prefer to consistently lose 49 games and have no shot at even a winning season!!! If we try just a little less we can become the old Aints!! Those were the good old days!!! I'm sure there is a Billy Joe Joe Billy playing QB for Discotech!!

Saints are definitely in a drought when it comes to post season. I think we all expected to be headed to GB this weekend and a trip to the SB on the line … especially with the roster assembled. Honestly I thought last year's team was good enough. The playoffs are a beast. Kicking FG's in the red zone, turning over the ball (4) & not executing on 3rd down is a recipe for an L. |
Re: Observations from yet another Saints early exit in the playoffs
To be brutally honest. When we didn’t score a TD on the first drive after Harris’ punt return, I had a gut feeling that we would be in trouble on offense. The play calling said that there was no way to fit passes in a tight window which is why Hill was featured so much in goal to go situations all year.

If the Saints had been in the AFC they would have been to multiple superbowls the last 10 years.

Take the lessons learned in the past and apply them to the future. Learn from your mistakes and move on. The thing is most people don't learn enough life lessons.
Oh, and yes! We are at war. I'll go one step farther and say we are moving toward a civil war as well. |

Green Bay Packers
Among all 32 NFL teams, the Green Bay Packers are based in the smallest U.S. market, ranking 139th in the country. In comparison, the city of New Orleans ranks a spot above Green Bay for 31st in population, having the 51st highest population in the country.
