I heard Bobby Hebert on the Point After show mention that the Saints are the first team in NFL history to win 49 games in a 4 year span not to make it to a Super Bowl.

Unfortunate & deflating stat.

If there's one thing I've learned to accept about the Saints, it's that we are great at setting all the wrong records.

To sum it up … under performed.

I saw that stat from Elias Sports immediately after the loss. It is/was brutal. It was almost as if they were waiting, expecting it.

I'd much prefer to consistently lose 49 games and have no shot at even a winning season!!! If we try just a little less we can become the old Aints!! Those were the good old days!!! I'm sure there is a Billy Joe Joe Billy playing QB for Discotech!!

I was thinking the Bills, but yeah at least those teams were getting to the bowl.

Saints are definitely in a drought when it comes to post season. I think we all expected to be headed to GB this weekend and a trip to the SB on the line … especially with the roster assembled.

Honestly I thought last year's team was good enough. The playoffs are a beast. Kicking FG's in the red zone, turning over the ball (4) & not executing on 3rd down is a recipe for an L.

To be brutally honest. When we didn’t score a TD on the first drive after Harris’ punt return, I had a gut feeling that we would be in trouble on offense. The play calling said that there was no way to fit passes in a tight window which is why Hill was featured so much in goal to go situations all year.

Yep I said the same in the chat, the second we couldn't convert on a huge play from Harris, it was immediately apparent it was the same old playoff Saints.

If the Saints had been in the AFC they would have been to multiple superbowls the last 10 years.

Take the lessons learned in the past and apply them to the future. Learn from your mistakes and move on. The thing is most people don't learn enough life lessons.

Oh, and yes! We are at war. I'll go one step farther and say we are moving toward a civil war as well.

If the Saints had a defense that was in the bottom 3rd of the league as opposed to dead last we would have had multiple Super Bowls. Our defense waisted Drew in his prime.

I can't argue that point.

Brady n TB won’t win against GB.
Saints loss , but gave TB big, critical turnovers. You never give Brady football game presents.
GB is not going to give any gifts.

If this is Brees last year, ok. He still went out a winner.
On and off the field, a winner.:bng:
He broke some records.
He is definitely a greatest player. An elite qb.
A future NFL Hall of Fame inductee.

What next?
Will he and wife continue to live in NewOrleans or move to, lets say, Indiana?Brees and wife, Britney, met in college at PurdueU.
Maybe they like Indianapolis, Indiana.

Will he want a coaching staff position or on air commentary position?

What?
We shall see.

I was being a BitterBetty and WAAAAAAY OFF. :p
GB got slaughtered.
NFL and Goodell won. TB with Brady , SB in TB, a first.
KCC and Mahommes.....again.
This should be big ratings fir this SB

Green Bay Packers
Among all 32 NFL teams, the Green Bay Packers are based in the smallest U.S. market, ranking 139th in the country. In comparison, the city of New Orleans ranks a spot above Green Bay for 31st in population, having the 51st highest population in the country.
