Re: Thank you Drew.
Thank you Drew for everything you have done for your team, fans and New Orleans.
You are a true ambassador for all that is good in football. To carry on playing with all that you have had to contend with this season shows what a true and genuine team player you are. Many others would have given up, especially with those kind of injuries to endure but you sucked it up, put on brave face and carried on the best you could, no on can ask more than that. If you do decide to call it a day, then may I say its been an absolute pleasure watching you play for the black and gold over the years and we will never forget that it was you that finally got us the Super Bowl win we had all been craving for! Take care Mr Brees and good luck for the future wherever that may take you! WHO DAT!! GEAUX SAINTS!! |

Re: Thank you Drew.
Drew "only" won one Super Bowl, but as any Atlanta Falcons fan will attest, there is an infinite difference between none and one. Think of all those 5000 yard passing seasons he racked up where a little more help elsewhere would have made the difference before you blame him for coming up short yesterday.
