Rams sure gave up a lot for a soon-to-be 33yo (7 Feb) quarterback...

Les Snead must think the Rams were being held back by Goff...

Stafford not only is older, but he's got some pretty hard miles...

Good for Dan Campbell...

I think they had to because of Goff’s contract. Stafford’s contract is cheaper and has very little dead money left.

Wouldn't be surprised if we have to let some folks go for less draft value just to unload some contracts (which I'd like to see us do)...

The offseason is still young but until something better materializes, I think we all get comfortable with the prospect of Jameis leading the offense.

Outside of the top two Qbs in the draft , Jameis has the better arm.

Outside of Taysom and Brees, Jameis has the experience.

I think Jameis will draw some attention from the market but until I see otherwise, he's also the most affordable option as well.

I do believe after this Stafford Goff trade, the asking price of Winston just got higher.

Agreed.

Something tells me he wants the chance to redeem himself as a starting QB … in New Orleans.

We shall see.

The Saints will spend money on Jameis, who is a lot like Stafford, but they won't lose draft capital like the Rams. You could argue that the organization, whether it's Payton, Loomis, Harley or whomever, were astute not only in bringing Winston in on a cheap contract last year but securing him in a sense for this season as well.

I have no idea what's on Winston's mind but after leaving the Buc's and joining a solid organization like the Saints had to be an eye opener. Yeah, the Bucs are going to the Superbowl this year but lets not pretend that they haven't been dysfunctional for the last twenty years.

Word is Houston wants 2 ones, 2 twos and two starters on Defense. Not even Mike Ditka is dumb enough to make that trade!

Watson might look better in a wedding dress than Ricky Williams, but let's not and say we did LOL.
