Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
You guys are obviously more informed about college players than I am (thanks for the info you pass). I was wondering, especially as it relates to Mac, the extremely different conditions that they played in this year adds an extra level of uncertainty while evaluating, doesn’t it. Playing at LSU or at Florida etc without the normal pressure having fans in the stands makes is tougher to evaluate a players poise.

Daviyon Nixon - DT IOWA
Rankins (Free Agent) replacement perhaps? Nixon is a disruptor. |

Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
We nailed the 2017 draft. The rest of our drafts have been both small and not nearly as productive. Almost everyone we drafted is playing on another team. We have had limited holes recently and quality over quantity has been our MO. Anzalone and Peat are not busts but we need better.
We must absolutely nail this draft. No more drafting to move a player to a new position in the pros. Draft one that doesn't need as much training. Baun currently looks like a waste. He may improve but we can't count on that. Ireland and the draft department need to rethink their drafting process and get back to what they did in 2017. |

Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
When you read a moch draft and think someone really doesn't have a clue what they are on about
![]() The Saints need to continue to improve their secondary, as their pass defense was a weakness in 2019 Top 5 for yards against 1st interceptions 2 for pass completion Now thats not to say a Safety might be the pick due to probably losing Marcus Williams but come on now, if you going to write this stuff for a living do your homework |
