For what it's worth, I see it's been reported that the Saints were attempting to trade up for Jaycee Horn. Shades of Patrick Mahommes …
Oh well, maybe we target a corner on tonight. |

Still believe Trevon Moehrig would've been the right pick; as I said before, Sean fails to see players aging, decline of skills; Malcolm Jenkins was/is a defensive liability... |

Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
There are multiple reports they were trying to move up, creditable sources, all saying pretty much no one was interested in the 28th position. And had they package a first round next year I can just the response to that move. To bad we have a bad scouting and drafting group to go along with marginal coach who keeps putting us in the bottom 5% of the draft rotation.

Marcus is a known, established quantity, with high grades to show for his play that doesn't bring a lot of BS to the locker room; he's all business, he's a good NFL pro... I'm strong advocate for what you're saying, but in Mr. Marcus' case, he's the player I draft, re-sign, even extend for a ten year run with us... What we can't afford is all the big contracts we have along the offensive line (e.g. Armstead, Peat) and can't manhandle teams in the playoffs... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
