CB &/or linebacker … maybe even a WR.
I agree. They have the picks available to make a move ... or two.

For what it's worth, I see it's been reported that the Saints were attempting to trade up for Jaycee Horn. Shades of Patrick Mahommes …

Oh well, maybe we target a corner on tonight.

I told y’all that was a terrible pick and Mayock is a garbage GM.

We've the same problem here - Sean tells Mickey what to do; there's no check and balances to make for a deliberative process...

Until Sean recognizes and embraces that he can't have unlimited power within the franchise, he'll continue to handicap his success on the field...

Whether government, business, football team, there must be a healthy set of checks and balances...

We got caught target fixating last night on a couple of the CBs, and we should've been working the phones along with others to move up to at least get Newsome...

Still believe Trevon Moehrig would've been the right pick; as I said before, Sean fails to see players aging, decline of skills; Malcolm Jenkins was/is a defensive liability...

There are multiple reports they were trying to move up, creditable sources, all saying pretty much no one was interested in the 28th position. And had they package a first round next year I can just the response to that move. To bad we have a bad scouting and drafting group to go along with marginal coach who keeps putting us in the bottom 5% of the draft rotation.

I would be on the phone today seeing of i could move Marcus Williams for a early 2nd round pick to move him. Can't see how they can afford Willaims long term anyway.

Trevon Moehrig solves that - he's very versatile, and he's a ball hawk...

If they liked Moehrig, or another safety, they'd have taken him last night when they got caught without a chair when the music stopped...

Marcus is a known, established quantity, with high grades to show for his play that doesn't bring a lot of BS to the locker room; he's all business, he's a good NFL pro...

I'm strong advocate for what you're saying, but in Mr. Marcus' case, he's the player I draft, re-sign, even extend for a ten year run with us...

What we can't afford is all the big contracts we have along the offensive line (e.g. Armstead, Peat) and can't manhandle teams in the playoffs...
