Honestly, I'm afraid of going to the playoffs because of our recent performances and the usual graceless exit from the playoffs.

I'd much rather wait 25 years between "graceless exits" Ask Buffalo fans how they enjoyed the previous two decades. Be careful what you wish for.

Re: How the last few playoff seasons have felt

how you lose is a big factor in how i feel about it
49ers in 11,Vikings with the miracle,Rams with the no call are harder to get over all three felt like legitimate shots at a superbowl if they won that game.

The second Vikings loss and the Tampa game not as hard. Out played both times. You can't make the mistakes made against tampa and vikings just beat the crap out of the Saints on both offensive and defensive lines through most of the game. Passing 66% of the time didn't help either

The day is coming when you'll look back fondly and mutter "Remember those years we won the division over and over and over?" If only we could just be respectable now!!!

Naw, winning the division is over rated. So is home field. Once you are in the tournament, get on a roll and handle business.

See Tampa (won 3 playoffs games in a row on the road) & Giants.

The New Orleans Saints have become regular season warriors.

Re: How the last few playoff seasons have felt

Why is getting into the playoffs associated with having a good chance to get into the Super Bowl?

Do many of you realize that the honor of being a playoff team is something that 44% of the league get each year lol? 14 teams get into the playoffs, that's 2 shy of half the frikken league.

Not making the play offs speaks to how craptastic a team is a lot more than making it does for how good a team is lol.

So, you would rather be a crap team like Jets, Cleveland, Buffalo, Detroit, Jacksonville that went 20 years with very few playoff appearances and perennial losing records?
