Re: How the last few playoff seasons have felt
Why is getting into the playoffs associated with having a good chance to get into the Super Bowl?
Do many of you realize that the honor of being a playoff team is something that 44% of the league get each year lol? 14 teams get into the playoffs, that's 2 shy of half the frikken league. Not making the play offs speaks to how craptastic a team is a lot more than making it does for how good a team is lol. |

Re: How the last few playoff seasons have felt
It gives a team a chance..., until the starting QB for said team throws 3 (three) int’s, a 55.88 completion %, 134 total yards, with a 38.1 QB rating.

Re: How the last few playoff seasons have felt
If said QB was dealing with a rotator cuff injury on his throwing shoulder, recovering from 11 fractures in the rib cage, and a torn facia then even if his name was Patrick Mahomes it would be understandable.

He just stunk up the field, and now you want to claim “injured”. His “facia” was never reported iirc, his shoulder was listed once, maybe twice again iirc, and his rib injuries were obvious and why he missed time, and the rest allowed him to heal up..., as you stated it would. The best predictor for future behavior is past behavior..., and the two most recent seasons clearly show what the future is with DB#9 at the helm. And unfortunately now that TB in TB is beginning to gel, we won’t even have an easy Division championship as an entrance to the playoffs. |
