Well in fairness, Palko was undrafted and Canfield was a 7th rounder. Grayson was a mid third, but many third rounders do not pan out. It’s not like has failed with a first or early second round choice.

I say work a multi team trade for Watson. Trade everyone on the team and get some late draft picks for the following year. We will come in way under the cap and Watson can throw to himself, run, and play defense.
Edit: that’s probably a little unrealistic. We will probably need to trade some of those picks and move up to get a kicker just in case we are in a tight game and down by a field goal.

I practice long snapping in my yard with my twin brother. I never played football but I've got a little speed and some accuracy on the snap. If Coach Payton reads this just send me a PM and we'll get together for tryouts and signing the league minimum contract. :wink:

I kicked a 25 yard field goal at halftime of a Shreveport Pirates (CFL) game back in 1994 to win a $50 gas card. Maybe we can get a package deal.
