I was waiting for this to be said... Mahomes threw 2 INTs as well. Id say that Mahomes and Brees fared equally as well against the same defense which may speak more to 'any given Sunday' than anything but it is notable none the less.

Agaiant the Buccaneers
Saints had 55% 3rd down efficiency
Chiefs had 23% 3rd down efficiency
