Hiring 'Legion of Boom' architect a good start, but decisions loom for Saints' secondary

I'm thinking Kris Richard will be a step up for us. When Dallas fired Jason Garrett they threw out the baby with with the bath water.

Remember that Dallas vs Saints game (2018) in Jerry's world? Saints were 10-1 at the time & the Cows had one of the better defenses. I was at that game and that Dallas secondary gave Thomas/Kirkwood & 3quan fits. Cows DB's harassed the hell out of our guys all night with physical play. But yeah I agree, this is a good hire for the Saints on the back end. I like the physicality & style Kris brings + his pass defenses have been good statistically. Not a lot of blown coverages on his watch.

Yeah I remember Buck & Troy gushing over this game and it was ugly..
