I agree with this feeling Oak. The position needs some kind of continuity. If Thomas was playing as injured as reported and is not ready for camp, then Sanders is the only proven WR on the team. He may be able to be restructured though.

Therein lies the issue. In a restructure he'd want to be owed the base salaries for 2021 and 2022 (a void year as it stands now). That's $14 million. Releasing or trading him eliminates the base salary. They can then negotiate a whole new deal at a reduced base salary, but so can anyone else.

Saints agreed to terms with Washington. Wonder if this means anything in regards to Murray.

For me it's more to do with special teams.

I still believe Latavius gets cut though :(.

I do too Major. Look for a Marlon Mack type to be signed later on for about 1.5 million.

If you ain't gonna use him, let him go......best, mismanaged talent on the team. Maybe Payton had a valid reason for not utilizing him more, yeah he got banged up, but having said that, he was rarely, if ever used with any regularity when he was healthy.

I agree bob, and I see similarities with Ingram and the way he was used to be honest. For the first two seasons in the league, it seemed every Ingram run was telegraphed. Even in host best years it seems he had more to offer. Murray too. I guess that’s the problem with two back systems. Hard to limit a Kamara/Bush/Sproles/ in favor of a Ivory/Ingram/Murray.

Well, that's it! We need a bruiser to match up with Kamara now that we let ours go.
