I hate this one. He did drop a lot of Ints but at least he puts himself in the right position to make plays on the ball. I remember many years that our CB1 couldnt do that.

Some teams have set aside quite a bit of cap space; he may not get what he was contracted with the Saints, but he'll get more than some min Vet deal the Saints could offer as of right now...

Re: Janoris Jenkins Gone

Am I the only one who would have preferred to keep Jenkins over Lattimore? I know the upside for ML can be greater, but Jenkins is more consistent.

Lattimore is our best defensive back...

When you factor age, cost, and who Jenkins covers as a CB2 vs who Lattimore covers as a CB1...

Including, but not limited to Julio Jones and Mike Evans, it's not even close, Brother Gnome...

Re: Janoris Jenkins Gone

I saw Malcolm Butler was cut a few days ago and IIRC Sean Payton is a fan of his work …

Wonder if he's in the cards for New Orleans?

For me, I hope we look at the draft for another corner. Gotta get younger, faster, stronger.

Janoris would re-sign for less, in my opinion. That would be the best scenario given he knows the system already. He wasn't cut because he wasn't wanted.
