Tampa Bay just did basically the same thing with Tom Brady's contract to free up over $19 million in 2021 cap. I doubt the league would have any objections to maneuvering around the dreaded "COVID Cap of 2021".

Taysom is not the future QB. However, he's the best at what he does and add undeniable value to the entire team.
