Taysom Hill creates $7.75 million in cap space with special accounting restructuring
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It's hard to believe such a blatant move to subvert the cap is allowed. And on a side note, the QB position is now the most over valued position in sports....

Tampa Bay just did basically the same thing with Tom Brady's contract to free up over $19 million in 2021 cap. I doubt the league would have any objections to maneuvering around the dreaded "COVID Cap of 2021".
