As you pointed out, we're meh at WR (think we'll be better than it currently looks) and we sure could use an established WRz...

My first option would be to continue the Sean Payton Getting The Band Back Together Tour and trade for Brandin Cooks and his friendly salary cap contract...

Other option would be the one I mentioned a few months ago in the Saints FA Thread 0 Saints Killa Golden Tate...
Or Kenny Stills? Cooks medicals (multiple concussions) scare me off.

I'll say it again, once they bottle up MT in the playoffs (assuming we get there) it's over. Callaway, Harris, Sprainquan have yet to show that they can do it consistently.

Just not happy with the WR group ATM but hey, that's just me.

Fair Point. But believe mortality has made him realize he's not a WRx...

He'd be the ultimate Saints WRz with his speed, precise routes, sure hands...

Play action passing dropping bombs to him? Wow...

We can compete with Callaway, Harris (when available); but totally agree we need better than Lil' Jordan and Juwan as a TE (we let Dan Arnold go?!?)...

Just know when Cooks was here, he was a threat on every single play; Cooks wanted ball (get paid); Stills flashed, less return vs off-field disruption...

Re: 2021 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Kind of "off" topic but I don't think I saw Pete Werner or Payton Turner play in either pre season game.

Two high draft picks with no game film.

Fresh Meat, needs some tenderizing to adjust to the physicality of the NFL...

Just hope it doesn't take as long as a certain DE who's name rhymes with Shreveport...

I think I saw that he's on Cincinnati's practice squad. So, likely available if you are willing to put him on your 53. However, reports have not been very impressive.

Re: 2021 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Thad has failed to impress. His blocking has been below avg & pass catching ability is fair at best. A bit undersized too. He lost that last roster spot in Cincy to a udfa who was on their practice squad last season. I'll be honest, Moss isn't very good ... not at this level.

IMO there are better options out there @ TE.
