You do realize “wouldn’t be surprised” is different than I think it’s gonna happen, right?

Don't be silly. Of course it isn't. I can't recall anyone saying that it is the same. That's why I said I'd consider odds. What do you think is the chance of Thomas not taking a snap this season? One in two? Fifty/fifty? Or maybe one in three? Or one in five? Or maybe one in ten?

Personally I would be totally shocked if Thomas didn't take a snap. The only real scenario that I could see where he didn't take a snap would be a new injury prior to his soon to be return. This is where pessimism versus optimism comes into play.

Fair enough. I’d say it’s about 10:1 in favor he does take a snap. So i’ll put up 10 bucks to your 100 that he does not take a snap.

LOL! I'm putting up $20. That means I get $2 ... if I accept those odds. But, I'm not. That seems like you would be surprised at 10:1 if he didn't take a snap, don't you think? Kind of long odds for not being surprised. I would think 1:4 would be more in keeping with "not being surprised by his not taking a snap this year".

My twenty against your five.
