His retirement sets a great precedent for Matt Ryan. Both looked done last year. Ryan looked done with 3 elite first round pick receivers who were healthy though, so why he stuck around when Brees retired is beyond me.

I just brought myself to watch this video. Pardon my French, but f**k the Falcons. Brees was the “sharpening stone” that made them what, the team that blew the biggest SB lead ever? Thanks, but we aren’t going to miss you? My ass!
Sorry for the rant. Maybe I’m still stuck In the grieving process of Drew retiring more than I thought. I bounce around among the teams I despise the most and the failclowns are always near top. Just when I want to cut them slack I come to my senses. My current mood top 5 “mega loath” list is as follows : Tampa Atl Carolina San Fran Minnesota |

I became personal online friends with one of their mega fans, Radish, through a forum, Seahawks.NET, and communicated year round for years. He passed away a couple of years back, however. More often than not Seattle fans pull for the Saints if they are out of it.
