RE: Re: the saints better not give me the daily sunday enema
i have to admit i am not going through that but for anyone who is i have nothing but compassion and sorrow. that said come sunday the entire world does not exist to me. all i want is a win. if not i am going to feel like crap all day monday. at that point the world will exist again. with a loss it is even worse.
now to be sincere in the grand scheme of things the entire year doesn't matter. nor does it any year really. |

I'm with 4saintspirt on this one. Just give me some normalcy, lemme see them play, that will be enough.
I'm so friggin' SICK of being homeless, I just want some normalcy - even a loss will be ok. |

oh brother I hear the excuses already... well we didn't have a home, or normalcy. Just get your ass's out there and win for New Orleans.
If they don't have a succsessful run... everyone and there mothers need to be fired along with Brown, Blanco and the mayor. |

That's a helluva offer, thnx spkb. I honored and proud to see so many people stepping up to the plate, though I can't forget that a lot of other people need that help much worse than I do..
I've got a hotel room in Atlanta, and my girl is drving up tomorrow (planned for one-at-a-time in case gas couldn't be purchased or roads were still blocked - i.e. only one of us would've been stranded). But it was an easy drive up I-59 with no problems, gas was available as close as Meridian. Anyway, once she gets here, we'll try hunting down an apartment and see where that takes us. My job is as an Oracle consultant, and my company was never based out of New Orleans anyway, so I'm still employed. That's a godsend. They're helping us find a new place, and helping us with the expenses during the crisis. That's a helluva offer, but I think we're going to be fine. PS -- the picture? Nah, don't worry, it's not really like that - I'm even uglier in person. |
can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

RE: Re: the saints better not give me the daily sunday enema
You know almost everyone will be pulling for the Saints this year. The team and the community has been through so much. We all know the Saints seem to fair well against odds/teams that they shouldn't. This season, the Saints are going to be the team that has to win against incredible odds and diversity. I think they will deliver. They will be going into every game knowing that the way they play may be one of the few positive situations for the state in the next few months. If the Saints can deliver a good solid winning season, I think they have done well and deserve props.
As for Euph, I'd offer you my place to shack up, but you probably wouldn't want to come all the way up here in Idaho in the winter months. You are welcome to if you need to bro. In fact, if anyone of you guys needs a place to stay I offer my quarters. Let me know guys. |
