Atlanta is tied to Ryan through 2022 because of his contract structure. Cutting or trading him this season would be a $65 million cap hit, while he only counts $26 million if he's on the roster. Cutting or trading him in 2022 would still be a $40 million cap hit.

Ryan's going nowhere any time soon.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I had to.

This was one of the greatest nights watching the SB I can remember.
I was at a buddy's house and I remember him saying: 'This game is over.'

My response? 'This game isn't over for two reasons: 1) That's Tom Effin' Brady out there, and 2) He's playing the Falcons! Just watch what happens!'

Once Edelman made that catch with 2:19 in the 4th, my buddy looked at me like I was possessed... and I was smiling like the cat that swallowed the canary!

Good times.

I just hope Dalton looks good tomorrow, or we might start thinking Matt Ryan was the one that got away 😲

And Atlanta is sunk greater than the Saints had ever dreamed in that dead cap. Should have figured the Failclowns would screw it up that bad.

LOL!
