Re: Jared Cook Interview

Lol the comment section is unknowingly hilarious. Charger fans seriously think Cook is the one to put them over the top.

He will cost them. Like he does all his teams.

Re: Jared Cook Interview

I agree with the comments.

Didn't see that killer instinct from Jared while in NO. Lacked concentration and focus when it mattered most.

Inconsistent is the word that comes to mind with JC.

Re: Jared Cook Interview

Cook was okay. He just wasn't the impact player I really hoped he'd be. And we always had to bring in guys like Josh Hill to do the heavy blocking.

I'm sure he'll do fine with the Chargers. But he isn't going to put them over the top.

What if the Saints inconsistently paid him, would that work ?

Re: Jared Cook Interview

IDK, Just that after playing with Rodgers, Carr, and Brees he says he’s happy to be with an offense that throws it ? I’m holding that fumble against him way too much I guess, and he’s just saying the PC lines, but that sentiment is crap IMO.

I was one of the ones who thought he was the "X factor" coming to New Orleans. He ended up being the "WTF factor"

Re: Jared Cook Interview

I never seen a player look more clueless on the field than Cook did.

Everytime he screwed up, Brees would come to him and try to go through stuff and Cook would be there sulking like a little baby, when a HOF'er is trying to teach and upskill you!!

Too be fair, his first year with us he was very good. Last year he didn't look like he wanted to be here, he looked unfocused, and had terrible body language. The way he walked away from Drew, when HOF Drew friggin Brees was trying to coach him up when he blew an assignment, it was clear he wouldn't be back. It only went down hill from there. Happiest non-resign I can remember in a while for me.
