Unless Payton wants to shift his offense to a more running based approach like the Ravens with Jackson, there is little chance of Hill showing himself a better passing QB than Winston. It could happen of course because neither sucks, but if Hill wins out based on passing ability, I will buy every B&G member a beer! All you gotta do is come to Massachusetts to get it.

I love the Gloucester are. Rockport is one of my favorite cities. Best lobster I’ve ever had.

Good tackles are plentiful in this draft even if we get a project aka zach strief late keep building

With our current QB's, unless someone grows by leaps and bounds this offseason, if we go pass heavy we're not going to have much success IMO.

Honestly with these two QB's I think Sean's message that he should be drilling into their heads is "don't be the hero, take a sack" especially when you're first and ten on the other team's 10 yard line and you are 5 seconds in to the play (as an example). I know everyone wants to see our QB's go through ALL progressions but in the beginning I'd like to Sean limit them to 3 at first and then Winston be prepared to take the sack/ Taysom take off running securing the ball. If they start flourishing then we can look for more.

Let's not forget that Winston has passed for 5000 yards and was second in the league in TD's in 2019. We are spoiled. Not many QB's in history have been able to handle the pass progression as well as Brees. If anyone.

Yeah, but the 30-30 thing is why they were 7-9 that year (add into that was it 12 fumbles? I forget, it was a lot) I know we're spoiled by Drew, my point is not ask too much of either him, or Taysom.

I'm curious to see if the Lasik eye surgery he got last year corrected his sight downfield. If he was playing all of his career prior fighting near-sightedness and still playing at a high level, we just may have found a discarded player that can ball.

I'm also confused about people on the board questioning his 'heart'. Exactly what are they referring to?

The 30 interceptions were an anomaly based upon the rest of his career. It was basically double the number of picks over his average. The common denominator was Bruce Arians.

I think they are referring to some of his college antics. He shoplifted some crab legs and created a disturbance in the school library that drew attention. Add that to his goofy “eating up wins” act and people have ammo to knock him.
