Collins could very well be there late in the 1st round.

If he is, do we select him ?

The kid is a legit 6'4/260 & can get to the sidelines in a hurry. Can you imagine him playing next to Demario?? Wow.

Some scouts/coaches see Brian Urlacher type ability. That's serious praise.

Yes, Yes, Yes! My biggest criticism ever of the Payton era ever has been his failure to draft LBs. Anthony is the only high draft pick he has ever used on a LB. And, while he sucked, it is not enough capital spent on the most Important group on the field for the D.

Re: Jeff Ireland at Tulsa LB Zaven Collins pro day

If I remember correctly corners drop value can be drastic after the first round. I want one of the top corners in the first and LB'ers still have good value in the second round. There should still be a side to side LB that can cover and tackle while diagnosing plays correctly. I'm looking at you Thor!
O-line leads all positions for Offensive value though.

Give me the best corner available in the first round and move up in the second for a LB that we covet. They both have good success rates in the early rounds.
