That would work in a normal year. Perhaps next year, but the 2021 cap couldn't take even the first year of a signing bonus tied to a voidable end. The future years are not the issue. We are hard up against the 2021 cap with no jumping through hoops possible.

No. Simply because I don’t think we have the supporting cast to get us to the SB right now and it would just get worse over the next three years because any draft capitol we would have had will likely belong to the Packers.
Brees couldn’t get it done in his prime when we didn’t have much talent on defense and he was better than Rodgers is at this point. Nothing makes me think we would get much better results now with Rodgers. I doubt Rodgers would even want to come here for the same reasons. We aren’t the team that’s a QB away from winning the Super Bowl.
Who knows lighting could strike twice and we COULD hit gold in a couple of our UDFA and draft picks but I doubt it.
