It works fine as long as the cap is rising. This year is a speed bump in the process. Execute this process on Lattimore, Ram, and Williams. It'll free up cap room. Renegotiate with Rodgers with a huge signing bonus, extra years, voidable on the end. SFIAH |

That would work in a normal year. Perhaps next year, but the 2021 cap couldn't take even the first year of a signing bonus tied to a voidable end. The future years are not the issue. We are hard up against the 2021 cap with no jumping through hoops possible.
