Re: Saints draft Houston DE Payton Turner with first-round pick
I'm thinking the injury bug is why people keep calling him that. It's ridiculous. His play on the field says otherwise. I'm hoping he can finally stay healthy this year. Everyone will shut up if and when that happens.

Re: Saints draft Houston DE Payton Turner with first-round pick
You both act like injuries aren’t part of the game. Newsflash...they are! Don’t you two watch the games? It’s like you don’t (end review of your sanctimonious sarcasm for those that have a different viewpoint). Putting two first round picks into one player rather than two players doubles the risk of injury on your investment. Do you not think that some of us fit that into the equation? That’s part of the reach/risk.

Re: Saints draft Houston DE Payton Turner with first-round pick
No, but when you do spend two very late first rounders (basically two high second rounders) you have no clue the player will suffer a turf toe injury and miss time before perhaps eventually becoming a perennial All Pro.
Don't get your point. ![]() |

I've been forced to beat this same poor horse beyond death, shawnky. I doesn't seem to register to some.
