WERNER talks about the Saints being The Ohio St U destination to geaux preaux.

Just as did Turner. I doubt this is a coincidence. Character and leadership seem to be common thread.

Don't forget the two traded picks were at the tail end of the 3rd round. The Saints probably had Adebo targeted and didn't want to wait 20 more picks taking the chance he was gone. Value is relative. To them the two players that they might get may not have been worth the one player they really wanted.

The great thing about the Saints drafting is they are willing to go get the player they truly want rather than settling for what others determine is the value at the traded pick slot, whether they want him or not.

Oh, and it's prudent to hold off on making a call for a few years on every player selected in a draft.
