Re: Saints Select T Landon Young in the 6th Round
Great stuff. Landon is very grounded, eager to learn & seems genuinely honored to have the opportunity to perform in New Orleans. He's all about giving back to the community too. Could become a diamond in the rough inside those trenches.
I really like how our draft choices are being interviewed by former (Stinchcomb, Harper, Bushrod) Saints legends as well. Good luck at camp Landon ![]() |

The draft haul as a whole, looks good because of picks like Landon Young...
Nitpicking, but a WRz in R2, and Cameron McGrone in R4 would have made this a terrific draft haul... |

Re: Saints Select T Landon Young in the 6th Round
Yes, and no. That is a public statement of ignorance of college football. I will readily admit that. I am not that interested in the college game as I have no dogs in the hunt besides NC State and with the pandemic and such I don't know any of the players this year ... and to be honest most years.
Once the players reach the NFL and become viable players I become far more interested. I love the pro game so much more. I know far more about the pro game than I do college or lower. Since I have no input upon which college players go where I don't choose to waste my time delving into all of them. Once the Saints draft them, however, I become very interested in everything to do with them. Then again, you didn't answer my question. What's special about this McGrones guy, JP? What makes him better than Werner for the Saints? |

He won’t make the roster. He isn’t better than our current OL backups.
