Pack your bags. We're going to Cincinnati, San Diego, Washington, and Dallas today....don't unpack.

How so? If the Saints were attempting to resign him he must have addressed their concern of the previously failed physical.

Weight gain. Weight loss. Some existing condition that required outside physician documentation. No telling, but very possible. It happens all the time at the beginning of camp. A player starts on preseason/PUP and two days later is activated.

So did Trill the Thrill pass his physical in South Beach? If so, what was the difference in team doctors this time around?

Saints Resign Burrell

Guess he wasn't hurt after all? What about Trill?

As I mentioned earlier, a failed physical doesn't mean an injury. They may have needed Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE's) from a personal physician to cover some otherwise restricted medication (Adderall is a common one). Or perhaps they had some elevated measurement that needed retested later (blood pressure for example).

Correct, I just wasn't sure that everyone understood that we are only temporarily under the cap and that the Top-51 has an end date. Also as you pointed out, TOP-51 is nameless it is a calculation based solely on 2021 cap hits and the names on it can and will change. After June 1 Drew should come off.

I made it to 32 and can attest to the value in that sound advice.

I stand corrected.

After further reading it seems that Drew's cap hit will be 12.225M after June 1st with his retirement and restructure in Feb being accounted for.

Just think about how tight the competition will be this year in camp fighting for a position in camp as compared to last year. At least this year will have more story lines to follow throughout training camp. I miss Drew already. I always sat right n front of him at camp and he was such an invigorating leader. Sigh. I only remember the good times.

Interceptions To Pinfalls: Former Saints Defensive Back Signs With WWE
Quote:

Former New Orleans Saints and NFL defensive back Atrilleon ''Trill'' Williams has signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. The news was released in a statement earlier this week by the WWE.

Williams, 24, appeared in an episode of WWE NXT on Tuesday, November 13. He participated in a tryout for the wrestling company over the summer and was clearly impressive enough to be offered a contract to embark on a new career.
