We may be $833k under the Top-51 but we are $15.2M over the total that we have to be under to start the season. The draft class hasn't been signed which is expected to effect the cap as follows. $5.1M Top-51 $6.4M Total Looooong story short the following still has to happen $4M in space to sign the draft class and stay under Top-51 Another $4M-$5M in space to sign a practice squad before the season starts. Do those things and you still need to trim $15M to start the season as TOP-51 ends just after the last preseason game, then we have to be under a fully loaded cap. I have a feeling a blood letting is going to happen. |

Virtually every contract that counts as a material hit against the 2021 cap has been previously restructured and carries a dead money hit equal to or greater than the player's 2021 salary. Cutting or trading any of these players would not help matters. Ramczyk, Marcus Williams, and Lattimore are the only three remaining that can result in solid cap clearing with restructure/extensions. I believe they are waiting to see what is going to be required before making those moves.
