He’s familiar with the team and has ability. Under a new coach he may be able to get his confidence back. He was very good his first year with us plus he’s quality depth and that’s what we desperately need. I really dont hate this.

Now I'm gonna be Mr. Sunshine here - we're essentially the same secondary as last year with a swap of Paulson Adebo for Janoris Jenkins...
Now Adebo may very well bust (he won't); there will be some adjustment; but we're getting a younger, stronger, cap-friendly CB2... We'll have Lattimore (after expected time out) at CB1, Paulson Adebo/P-Rob at CB2, Gardner at NB, Mr. Marcus at FS, and Ole Man Jenkins as SS... Our secondary will be the best in the NFC South, again; there will be other position groups of greater concern... |

This is what you end up with when you can't afford the luxury of a quality #2 CB.
KC is depth, nothing more. Maybe he fills the special team role left by Hardee. |
